Welcome to adamisfendiyar.com (the "Site"), operated by Adam Isfendiyar ("I", "me", "my"). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Content & Copyright

All photographs, film, video, writing, and other creative work published on this Site — including but not limited to the Home Game project — are my original work and are protected by copyright. Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • You may view and share links to this content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • You may not reproduce, republish, download, distribute, or use any image, video, or text from this Site for commercial purposes without my prior written permission.

  • Screenshots, downloads, or reposting on social media without credit and consent are not permitted.

If you'd like to license, exhibit, publish, or otherwise use any work featured here, get in touch via the contact details on the Site.

2. Print Sales

Where prints are offered for sale through this Site:

  • Purchasing a print gives you ownership of that physical object only. It does not transfer copyright, and it does not grant any right to reproduce, scan, photograph, or otherwise copy the image.

  • Prints may not be resold for commercial purposes or used in advertising, merchandising, or promotional material without a separate licence agreement.

  • Please check product listings for details on paper stock, sizing, and edition information (if applicable) before ordering.

  • Orders & delivery: Orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days. Delivery timescales for international orders may vary.

  • Returns & refunds: Because prints are made to order, I'm only able to offer refunds or replacements where a print arrives damaged or defective. Please contact me within 5 days of delivery with photos of any damage. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on made-to-order items.

  • Payment: Payments are processed securely through Squarespace's payment provider(s). I don't store your card details.

3. Licensing

I license selected images for editorial, commercial, and personal use on a case-by-case basis.

  • Any licence is subject to a separate written agreement (e.g. quote, invoice, or licence agreement) specifying permitted use, duration, territory, and fee. Nothing on this Site constitutes a standing or implied licence.

  • Unless a licence explicitly states otherwise, all licences are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to the use specified.

  • Licensing enquiries should be sent via the contact details on the Site, stating intended use, format, and distribution.

4. Third-Party Platforms & Links

This Site may link to or embed content from third-party platforms, including YouTube (Home Game channel), Instagram, and Substack. I don't control these platforms and I'm not responsible for their content, availability, or their own terms and privacy practices. Use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms.

5. Academic & Research Context

Some work featured on this Site was produced in connection with academic study (including an MA in Professional Photography at Oxford Brookes University) and/or funded research (including support from WHO and the Wellcome Trust). Institutional affiliation is noted for context and credibility; it does not imply endorsement of this Site or its content by those institutions unless stated.

This Site and its content are provided "as is." I make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Site, and I may update, remove, or change content at any time without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this Site, including reliance on any information published here.

8. Enquiries, Commissions & Collaboration

Any enquiries submitted via the Site (for commissions, collaboration, press, or exhibition) do not create a binding agreement until confirmed separately in writing (e.g. by email).
